So .... you will actually need at least two magnets to benefit from Biomagnetism in any way.
A Biomagnetic Pair is two exact points on the body that are neutralized by two magnets simultaneously.

If you are a client, two-four magnets used in a strategic way between sessions may really help things along.

For students and new practitioners we recommend a minimum of 20 magnets.

Experienced practitioners running a busy clinic may have a set of 30 or more of varying sizes for ease of use with different clients. If you see a lot of young children you may prefer to have more small sizes. 

Although all of the biomagnetism magnets we use are effective, here are some reasons why we may prefer the different shapes and sizes.

• The medium ferrite block magnets are easiest to learn with as they cover a larger area and make it easier to cover the Biomagnetic points.
• The flat compact neodymium disc magnets are lighter and more comfortable when clipped to hair, or tucked under a bony bodypart such as the sacrum or scapula.
• Small neodymium are easier to place on the face, and have them hold steady when using tape.
• Neodymium can be stronger than the ferrite and attract to other magnets very strongly creating a risk of pinching and skin injury (or just a fright as they snap!).  Ferrite is a good choice for beginners for this reason as well!
• Four magnets with alternating poles is used to give a liver or pancreas application. I have used this many times myself to process alcohol with ease and avoid hangovers, but is great for energy, digestion and hormonal applications.

How can I learn it?

There are a number of online Teachers who offer distance learning certification, as well as in-person training. Whenever possible – in person training will be far more comprehensive with plenty of supervised practice time leading to vastly more confidence as you start helping people with Biomagnetism.
Check that your teacher is using Authentic teachings of Dr Goiz, and is putting their face and experience for all to see on their website. (Avoid plagiarised and distorted teachings that are found online).

What are the pre-requisites??

Knowing Anatomy from previous courses is the only pre-requisite. IF you have no study of anatomy behind you to start with – then it’s a great idea to learn the basics through a single subject of anatomy or anatomy/physiology combined. Medical level anatomy is not necessary – but subjects designed for massage or natural therapies are a perfect fit for what we do.

Will I be any good at this???

IF you love helping people, can do a standing Job, and are willing to put in the practice with friends and volunteers after the training, then there is no reason why not!

Would I be able to get clients and do this as a career????

Being a natural therapist is to be a small businessperson. In general, each person works for themselves. Look at your local massage clinic, handyman, home based hair salon. All these people will be self-employed. They learn and do business activities such as advertising, book-keeping, building referrals, keeping client records as well as seeing clients. You will need an ABN and a shoebox at the very least, and the IICT recognises Biomagnetism Professionally, and provides the insurances we need at around $350-$380 per year all up. Getting started is fairly straight forward, and over time you may need to learn the ropes of small business.
